Moss Construction is pleased to announce that industry veteran Marty Strype has been promoted to Vice President of Preconstruction for the firm’s Mid-Florida region. Moss is a national construction management company providing innovative solutions resulting in award-winning projects across the United States. Marty Strype is now a Director, Preconstruction at Moss CM based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Strype will be responsible for managing and coordinating all elements associated with estimating and preconstruction services for all projects. This includes conceptual and detailed estimating, documentation and scope review, value analysis, subcontractor prequalification and solicitation, comparison and cost model reporting.

Strype has more than 35 years of construction industry experience and has been with Moss since 2015. His diverse experience includes market-rate and luxury multi-family residential, corrections, primary and higher educational facilities, and hospitality.

Strype earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering University of Hawaii at Manoa.
